Get on the Gloucester Road Story Trail this month!
February 8th, 2013The Gloucester Road Story Trail got off to a great start yesterday afternoon at Bubalu. The event was well attended and the family show was enjoyed by all.
Local resident Paula Brown (pictured right) has organised a fantastic trail on our favorite high street. The trail consists of a series of stories connected to, and displayed in, shops down the Gloucester Road. Various local writers, authors and storytellers, adults and children alike, have recreated traditional tales or invented new ones with a link with each shop, alongside a short biography of the writer and a mini interview with the shopkeeper. The stories can be downloaded and made into a collection of stories at home.
Visit the following shops on the Gloucester Road to take part in the trail – Rainbow Wools, St Peters Hospice, Joes Bakery, Bishopston Hardware, Dev’s Kerala, Step Up Footwear, Flo Jo Boutique, Roxfords Pet Supplies, The Fish Shop, La Ruca, Playfull Toy Shop and Make Fashion.
Bishopston Matters is delighted to have helped sponsor this event.
