Bristol Domestic Abuse Forum is a city-wide forum for anyone who works with or has an interest in working with victims and survivors of domestic violence and abuse.
Supported by Safer Bristol, it meets regularly throughout the year to give people a chance to develop their knowledge, network, and discuss current issues and successes.
This is a local patients self-help group for people with Myalgic Encephalomyelitis (or diagnosed with CFS). We provide 3 newsletters a year to inform about latest developments in research and treatments, a phone/email contact list of members and regular social meetings in St Andrews, Henleaze and city centre - all for just £6 p.a. to cover costs. You can also find us on facebook and twitter.

Bristol Miscarriage Support meets at Alma Church, St Johns Road, Clifton on the 1st Tuesday of every month from 7-9pm and aims to provide a safe environment in which men and women experiencing the grief of losing a pregnancy can come together to share their experiences and provide each other with mutual support. The Carers Centre for Bristol and South Gloucestershire is a local charity supporting the work of unpaid carers in the Bristol and South Gloucestershire area of the South-West of England.
They do this through a range of services including a sympathetic carers support telephone line, a team of carers support officers, and a variety of workshop, and training events. Their service is free, and confidential. They are here to help you.

Provides therapy groups and counselling for women experiencing depression and other mental health problems. The general counselling service is for Bristol residents in receipt of a low income or benefits. The groups aim to create a setting and atmosphere where women feel safe to express their feelings.
Womankind also offer a dedicated service to Refugee and Asylum seeking women. There is a helpline where any woman can ring and talk, they will be listened to in confidence and offered emotional support. Helpline also offers emotional support and information to women experiencing domestic abuse. 24 hr message service.

We also run an outreach counselling service in South Bristol for women who are survivors of rape and sexual abuse. Volunteering opportunities in administration, helpline and befriending.
