Unique star studded games set to benefit Bristol charitiesJanuary 9th, 2014
The Harbourside Games running throughout June 2014 will see the charities and participating athletes benefit from a series of sporting and social events delivered by a whole host of GB Olympians and Paralympians. The project, mirroring a similar event in London Dockland’s area, affords individuals, groups and corporates the once in a lifetime opportunity to compete alongside the GB Athletes in a series of after work sports competitions.
Planned sporting events include Rowing, Track Cycling, Sailing, Kayaking, Windsurfing, Beach Volleyball and Beach Handball, and in each team event the participating teams will have a GB Athlete alongside them.
A spokesperson for the Harbourside Games Charity Group urged people to seize this golden opportunity;
For those looking for inspirational gift experiences for those in their lives, then the weekends of the Games will see a series of VIP Individual Training Experiences and youth competitions, all designed to generate funds for the local charities supporting the Harbourside Games.
The event will be launched on Saturday 7th June with an Opening Ceremony Ball, one of many social and business events attended by the participating GB Athletes. The Charity Group are keen to highlight the various opportunities for the local community to generate support for the project and help maximise the returns for charity.
“The Harbourside Games Supporters Packages, ranging from ten to three thousand pounds come laden with many exclusive personal and corporate rewards that give those who wish to support the city and help maximise revenues for local charities an incredible incentive to do so.”
