Children at Ashley Down School’s Federation, Brunelfield site, Bishopston, were thrilled to try out new playground equipment when they returned for the summer term – thanks to a donation from Linden Homes and its parent company, construction firm, Galliford Try.

The primary school is located next to Gloucestershire County Cricket Ground, where Galliford Try has constructed Linden Homes’ Living @ The Bristol County Ground development. The scheme of 147 one- and two-bedroom apartments forms part of the exciting redevelopment of the Gloucester County Cricket Ground.

James Hurford, Commercial Director at Linden Homes Western, said: “We are committed to supporting the communities around our developments and it’s been great to see the enthusiastic response to the new playground. We are pleased that our contribution will help the learning experience for all these children.”
