Join Bristol Cabot Choir for a Christmas Fanfare!

Join in the Christmas spirit on Monday 16th December 2013 with Bristol Cabot Choir when they return to Bristol Cathedral for their annual Christmas Concert.

Conducted by Musical Director Rebecca Holdeman, the choir is delighted to be joined this year by the Bristol Brass Consort and Preludes Project Children’s Choir. The Choir supported Preludes as its Charity of the Year 2012/2013.

The first half of the concert will feature and amalgam of traditional and modern carols. Choral highlights will include Rutter’s ‘Candlelight Carol’ sung by the children, Bruckner’s ‘Ecce Sacerdos Magnus’ by the choir and a seasonal medley from Bristol Brass Consort.

The second half of the concert will continue with a selection of traditional and modern carols including ‘Riu Riu Chiu’ from Cancionero de Uppsala and ‘Infant Holy’ performed by Bristol Brass Consort. The finale will be the wonderful ‘Hallelujah’ chorus from Handel’s Messiah.

The Bristol Cabot Choir Christmas Concert takes place at 7.30 pm on Monday 16th December 2013 at Bristol Cathedral, College Green, Bristol BS1 5TJ.

Tickets are £14 and £12 (reserved), £10 (unreserved). A £5 student discount is available on all tickets.
