Holly Hedge Fun Day & Fun Dog Show 2014August 13th, 2014
On Sunday 7th September, the local animal charity Holly Hedge Animal Sanctuary will be holding their annual Fun Day and Dog Show. To be held at Ashton Court from 11am – 4pm, the event has lots of fabulous activities planned to entertain the whole family.
Holly Hedge Animal Sanctuary is currently undergoing major renovations with its forty-five year old kennels are being replaced with brand new ones essential to enable the volunteers at Holly Hedge to continue saving dogs in need.
The volunteers at Holly Hedge hope that the Fun Day and Fun Dog Show will help them raise vital funds to help us reach their appeal target of £650,000, as well as helping them to find loving new owners for the cats and dogs in their care.
People who come along to the Fun Day will have the opportunity to meet some of Holly Hedge’s Canine friends past and present, browse the local trader’s Stalls, take part in the Fun Dog Show, enter the Photo-Entry Cat Competition, watch professional Agility Demonstrations and then have a go themselves! They can also enjoy finding some bargains at the Table-Top Sales and chance their luck with our Fun Day Grand Raffle Draw! There will also be a Bouncy Castle, Kids Games and Face-Painting as well as Refreshments so there really will be something for everyone – and what’s more those who come along will be helping Holly Hedge raise vital funds for the animals in their care.
Tickets are just £1 for adults and 50p for children and senior citizens (please note that parking charges apply at Ashton Court Estate, currently £1.20 for the day). Please use the Dovecote entrance at Ashton Court.
Well behaved dogs are encouraged to join in the fun, water is supplied for them throughout the day and plenty of shade is available nearby. Dogs must be kept on leads as there will be children, other dogs and lots of other distractions going on throughout the day.
