Goldney Garden Party Celebrates Amnesty International's 50th Birthday!
June 15th, 2011On Sunday August 7th, Bristol Amnesty International will be hosting it’s popular annual garden party at Goldney Hall in Clifton. 2011 sees not only 29 years of the local Amnesty groups garden parties at Goldney Hall but also celebrates Amnestys 50th Birthday.
This fun filled day for all of the family is the perfect way to spend a summer afternoon and enjoy the beautiful grounds of Goldney Hall, which are only open to the public 3 days a year.
Visitors are invited to enjoy afternoon tea in the Orangery whilst being entertained by well known artists including Cindy Stratton and the ever popular People of Note choir. There is also the opportunity to visit Goldney’s hidden 18th Century underground shell grotto, one of Bristols best-kept secrets.
Younger visitors can have fun in the garden, where there will be storytellers and magicians. There will also be face painting, loads of games and the chance to paint a butterfly for Amnesty,
