Big Brew – a Big Success!
March 8th, 2011Fairtrade Fortnight got off with a flying start at the Kings’s Tennis Club in Bishopston on 28th February. Sustainable Bishopston’s ‘Big Brew’ attracted over 50 people who enjoyed a cuppa, a cake and a chat, while generously contributing to the valuable efforts of Traidcraft in promoting Fairtrade worldwide.
Local traders, the Co-operative supermarket and Harvest store, both on the Gloucester Road, very generously donated goods for hampers and there were 3 lucky prize winners. £160 has been sent to Traidcraft. Many thanks to everyone who helped or attended.
