You are invited to join the Bishopston Society

The Bishopston Society – ‘working for Bishopston’s heritage and its future’ –is looking for new committee members.

While their core areas of concern are monitoring and responding to local planning and licensing applications, and working with the Neighbourhood Partnership, committee members are encouraged to pursue their own particular interests. These might include:

  • Celebrating TBS successes and disseminating our work more widely through local networks and the public
  • Using social media to extend our influence and support base
  • Leading on local initiatives on development and enhancement of the Gloucester Road and Bishopston
  • Helping to build our partnership work with local groups like Sustainable Bishopston, Friends of  Horfield Common and the Golden Hill Community Garden
  • Developing strategies for increasing our membership

More details about the Society can be found on our website at:
