Sainsbury’s is proposing to build a store, commercial space and homes at the Memorial Stadium as part of an agreement that would provide funding for significant investment in sports and education facilities in north Bristol and create up to 350 full and part-time jobs. If the plan is approved, Bristol Rovers would sell the stadium to Sainsbury’s. The proceeds from the sale would enable the football club to relocate to a purpose-built stadium at the University of the West of England’s Frenchay campus.

We would like to meet with the local community to discuss our proposal with you in more detail, answer any questions you may have and get your feedback on our plans.
