The Natural Health Clinic – 30 Year Anniversary Re-Launch

The Natural Health Clinic on Cotham Hill is the UK’s first Multi-Disciplinary Complementary and Alternative Therapy Clinic and is celebrating 30 Years or success on 24^thSeptember 2011. The clinic has always been a ‘not for profit’ organisation and this is now formally the case with its new status as it is re-launched as a ‘Community Interest Company’.

The Natural Health Clinic is so much more than a space in which practitioners see their clients. They are unique in that the services they offer are done so within the framework of our holistic approach to health and the recognition that therapists need to work in collaboration with each other for the client to maximise the most from the range of therapies on offer. Complementary therapies are not a ‘one size fits all’ process, at the NHC we understand that each therapy has strengths and limitations depending on the conditions being treated and the individual’s constitution. That is why our Natural Health Consultation Service and our series of Programmes for support during Menopause, trying to Stop Smoking and for Detoxing look at you as an individual and what course or treatment and therapy(ies) would benefit you the most. Come along and find out about our range of new and existing services such as ‘Acupuncture for All’, a low cost multi-bed service and our aims to develop Outreach services across areas of Bristol making Complementary Therapies accessible and affordable to all.

Ac, RCHM – Acupuncturist & Chinese Herbalist ). Tony Harrison will talk on ‘Integrative Medicine’ –the unique approach for combining various therapies to best match the individual needs of the patient to the relative strengths of the therapies.
