Answer: Taking part in a fabulous MS Charity quiz!
Many of you know that my dear, late father suffered with multiple sclerosis (MS). To celebrate his life and love of people, we organise a community fundraiser for the Bristol MS Society each year. Many of you wonderful people have previously supported the Cake Break, kindly hosted by the Horfield Baptist Church. This year, to mix things up a little, we are trying our hand at something new – a fabulous community quiz!
The event will take place at St Bart’s Church Hall in St Andrews, on the evening of Saturday 14 March 2015. You are all invited to take part in this fun, friendly quiz. Tickets will be £5 per person with a maximum of six people per team. Groups should be booked in before the day please. The ticket price includes some delicious interval snacks and the opportunity to win some great prizes. There will be a cash bar to help the evening go with a swing.
Raffle tickets will be on sale; we have been blessed with some amazing prizes over recent years from local businesses that have included Meals in Gloucester Road restaurants, Cricket tickets, Haircuts and colours, Champagne and much, much more. I am confident the wonderful local traders will once again dig deep and come up with some fabulous goodies for you lucky people to win.
This is a wonderful opportunity for the whole community to come together, have some fun, eat, drink and be merry, while raising funds for a charity close to many people’s hearts.
