Ten things you didn't know about North Bristol Artists!

  1. This year is our tenth anniversary! It seems like only yesterday that a handful of artists opened their homes in St Andrews for the first time.
  2. There are 110 artists displaying their work at various venues across North Bristol.
  3. There are over 20 types of art media used by our artists including sculpture, pottery, glass, jewellery, mosaics, watercolour, textiles, print, lino cuts, acrylics, pen & ink, pencil, pastel, oil, and of course mixed media!
  4. A number ten will be hidden somewhere in each venue for children on the trail to hunt for!
  5. Community venues such as Horfield Baptist church will show art work from the local community including local children and people with dementia and their families.
  6. Horfield Prison visitor centre will be opening its doors for the second year after very positive feedback last year. Some of the prisoners art work is breath taking.
  7. All of the artists in North Bristol Art Trail live or have their studio in the area. It truly is a trail of North Bristol artists!
  8. We are the last art trail of the year and the closest to Christmas. The perfect place to find those hard to find, unique and special gifts. This year we are starting a gift voucher scheme. Look at our website for further information.
  9. You can download a trail map from www.northbristolartists.org.uk or pick one up from various cafe’s in the area
  10. Follow us on Facebook and Twitter or look at our blog for interesting stories about individual NBA artists and their work http://northbristolartists.wordpress.com/
