Team Play! Free 8 week course for local parents

TeamPlay is free courses for parents, organised as part of a research project run by the University of Bristol. The sessions will run over 8 weeks and are designed to reduce stress and enable you to have more fun in family life.

If you would like to get involved the courses start in 2012 and are open to parents of 6-8 year olds. They will be run as a small, local and friendly groups. You will be able to find out practical ideas to help children be active and healthy and discover helpful ways of communicating feelings, developing self-esteem and improving family relationships at home.

The courses will run at the following venues:

• Horfield Baptist Church (Tuesday evenings). Starts 17th January 2012, 6.30pm to 8.30pm. Every Tuesday for 8 weeks (no session during half term)
• Upper Horfield Children’s Centre (Friday mornings). Starts 9th March 2012, 9.30am to 11.30am. Every Friday for 8 weeks (no sessions during Easter break). A free crèche is available for this course
