Sunshine & Showers at the 2011 Party in the Park!

The popular community event Party in the Park took place last Saturday 17th September at the Golden Hill Sports Ground. The event, now in its fifth year was a great day out for all the family with the showers not seeming to dampen spirits amongst the crowd.
There were live bands, stalls, displays and sporting events going on not to mention all the fantastic rides and entertainment for the children. The horsey hoppers proving to be a firm favourite.
As part of the celebrations Golden Hill Sports launched their exciting new annual Family Membership for only £10.00 per year. This allows a family of two adults and two children to enjoy the Golden Hill Clubhouse with all the live sporting events on their big screen plus the amateur cricket and football teams who play most Saturday afternoons throughout the year.
