Summer reading scheme gets into the 'Story lab'

Young readers are invited to get into the ‘Story Lab’ this summer and discover a world of books, imagination, suspense and surprise.

As part of a national campaign, Bristol Libraries will be promoting the 2012 ‘Story Lab’ Summer Reading Challenge. The challenge is simple – to read six or more library books over the summer.

Young readers can take part by visiting local libraries from now until to September 7, where they will find incentives, activities and events designed to create excitement around children’s reading.

‘Story Lab’ will launch in the Children’s Library on Thursday, July 12 from 9.30am to 10.30am with local school children and children’s artist Chris Fisher taking part in a fun art workshop.
