Summer Reading 'Circus Stars' with your local Library

Children and young people in Bristol are invited to become ‘Circus Stars’ this summer as part of a national reading campaign to encourage a love of books and to promote the joy of reading for pleasure.

In Bristol, a special ‘Circus Stars’ summer reading challenge will run in all city libraries from Monday, July 11 to Friday, September 9.

Taking part in the reading challenge is free. Children and young readers can pick up a ‘Circus Stars’ folder from their local library, choose from thousands of books, enjoy a good read books and collect stickers with the chance to win a medal, certificate and voucher. Plus, ‘Circus Stars’ completing the challenge will gain free entry into a prize draw. There are also circus-themed craft events and activities happening in libraries across Bristol (advance booking essential).
