Spring Time Art Extravaganza

Harriet Cox.FishAndLemon-1This year the Art Trail season in Bristol will be starting with a fresh, new, lively trail. Extending from Stoke Bishop through Henleaze to Westbury-on-Trym, nearly seventy artists will be showing their work in a huge variety of mediums including paintings, handmade prints, glass work, mosaics, jewellery, textiles, ceramics, sculpture and photography.

All venues are free to enter and there will be the opportunity to meet the artists and watch some of them at work. It’s an ideal time to view or buy professional quality art at very affordable prices or to discuss commissioning an individual piece of work.

harriet st legerP1070638BS9 Arts chairperson, Stephen Howarth said “We’re hoping visitors to the art trail will take advantage of the beautiful green spaces in BS9 including the Downs, Golden Hill, Westbury Wildlife Park and Blaise Estate to enjoy a walk or cycle in spring sunshine on the way to the delights of wonderful artistic creativity at the different venues. With plenty of opportunities for refreshments along the trail we’re looking forward to making the weekend a wonderful time out for all.”
