Local movement for birth sessions

A dance and movement class for pregnancy and for birth preparation. Includes gentle and dynamic physical movement for pregnancy and birth, visualisation and relaxation techniques, and a sprinkling of pregnancy advice and birth physiology (how birth happens). Facilitated by Agnieszka Grenckowska (Bellyfit holistic women dance teacher and Life Coach) and Karen Woods (Registered Midwife and Hypnotherapist).

Inspiring new weekly class for women at any stage of pregnancy. Developed in Bristol from Karen and Agnieszka’s unique collaboration, and drawing on their combined professional knowledge and experience.

‘Drop into your body and into the present moment using guided movement to music. Feel the ground beneath your feet and expand, opening more to the moment and the experience of your pregnancy. Move your body both gently and dynamically, and with awareness of it’s knowledge and power. Immerse yourself in the music and attune to yourself. Join in community with others on this pregnancy journey. Find your own unique way to move and to prepare for birth’.

Through ‘Movement for Birth’ classes they aim to provide a safe, fun and empowering environment for you to practise mindful and healthy movement during pregnancy, and in preparation for birth. Helping you to feel open, to soften and strengthen, and to find and develop your inner resources for your journey through pregnancy and birth.
