Life Cycle’s Summer Season of Saturday Sales

Life Cycle will be opening their doors to the public at their workshop in the grounds of Horfield prison on Sat 18th March to kick off their summer season of Saturday sales.

The Bike Back project holds adult bike sales every Thursday, selling low-cost bikes that have been donated by the public and refurbished by prisoners under the expert tuition of Life Cycle’s experienced mechanics.

As the warm weather draws nearer, Life Cycle is keen to enable everyone, even those who work during the week to have access to affordable bikes, so they have launched a summer season of events.

They kick off on Saturday 18th March, from 9am to 12 noon.  Alongside the usual range of bikes and accessories for sale, there will be a cycling instructor on hand to advise less confident or new cyclists, who can book free one to one adult or family cycling lessons, tailored to meet your needs.

There will be plenty of local maps and route leaflets to inspire new adventures for the whole family.

Tamar Thompson, the project manager said “Situated just off the Gloucester Road, a hive of activity every Saturday, the workshop is the perfectly placed venue and with Boston Tea Party supporting the event with supplies of coffee and cake, there is something for everyone.”
