Jubilee celebrations at Redland High

Everyone at Redland High School got into the spirit of the Diamond Jubilee Celebrations. The Junior School made a huge quilt (each girl designing a square) for Her Majesty The Queen, they had a ‘party in the park’ enjoying a lovely picnic lunch. After lunch they were treated to a puppet show which was enjoyed by all.

The Senior School Hall echoed with ‘Jerusalem’ and ‘God Save The Queen’ during an assembly full of red, white and blue flags. The girls wore a variety of costumes with a royal theme, from red white and blue clothing to glitzy union jack dresses, tiaras and crowns and the catering team joined in the fun with hats and flags and a traditional British menu. The Senior School sent a card signed by all of the girls and staff with pictures of the school celebrations and a special poem.
