Join in the fun of Party in the Park 2013!

Party in the Park is a well established community event which brings together over 3,500 members of our local community for a fun filled afternoon and evening of entertainment. Bishopston Matters is pleased to continue to sponsor the Horsey Hoppers race.
This years event is promising to be bigger and better than ever! It takes place on Saturday 14th September from 12 noon onwards and closes around 7:30pm.
It is a community event for all ages with games, rides, activities, live music, barbeque, refreshments and numerous stalls ranging from cakes, toys and crafts providing entertainment and fun for all.
Activities include – Live music from Charlie James, The Basket Cases, Mandy Chaos and The Atomic Rays Zumba, Martial Arts, Air Cadets Brass Band Plant, Cake and Craft stalls Golden Hill Sonics 5 a side football tournament Bouncy Castles Bungee Run Bungee Trampoline Go Karts Zorbers Mario Bros Obstacle courses Large Slide Food and Drink Raffle and Tombola Horsey Hoppers!
New for 2013 Wipeout and Bouncy Boxing! Open Mic tent and the Royal Air Cadets Marching Band!
The entrance fee payable on the gate is £2 per adult and 50p per child. Golden Hill Sports Ground is situated in Wimbledon Road (just off Kellaway Avenue) and with a pedestrian entry point at the top of Henleaze Park Drive. Please note that no car parking will be available, so please come to the ground by foot. Unfortunately due to safety reasons dogs are also not allowed at this event.
