Family Fun Day to be opened by Kid's TV presenter!March 3rd, 2011
Horfield Baptist Church are excited to announce that children’s television presenter Naomi Wilkinson will launch their Fun Day on Saturday 19th March at Horfield Baptist Church on the Gloucester Road.
Known to millions of children from Channel 5s milkshake! Naomi not only presented the popular kids programme for 10 years, but she also produced the show. Naomi grew up in neighbouring Henleaze where she attended the local primary school and then Colston Girls school. Her dancing tuition started at Westbury School of Dance in Westbury Park from the age of 4 to 16. She then progressed to the London College of Dance. Her entertainment career first took off at Butlins where she was one of their famous Redcoats and her television break came when she presented the breakfast show Wakey Wakey for ON Digital. Following the success of milkshake! Naomi went on to present many other childrens programmes. Most recently, Naomi has worked closely with Steve Backshall, co-presenting the exciting Saturday morning show Live n Deadly for BBC2 and CBBC, travelling the length and breadth of Britain in search of the UKs most deadly animals and enjoying some awesome activities along the way.
