Experience am amazing charity paint run!March 26th, 2015
Registration is open for Children’s Hospice South West’s Rainbow Run, which will take place at Clifton Downs on Saturday 20th June. The 5K event is the only paint run in Bristol that solely supports the work of a local charity.
Last year’s event attracted 2,000 runners and raised over 105 thousand pounds for the charity. Children’s Hospice South West (CHSW) is hoping to increase its numbers again this year to over 3,000.
Emma McKeown, CHSW Events Fundraiser, said, “Taking part in Rainbow Run is so much fun, plus you are helping local families make the most of the time they have with their life-limited children. Last year we were overwhelmed by the support of the local community and we are hoping they’ll come out in force this year too.”
Naomi Grosvenor and her son Ethan rely upon the care they receive from the children’s hospice near Bristol. “Charlton Farm has been a massive support since Ethan was little and continues to be. We are taking part in Rainbow and would love you to come and take part too, to support families like ours. Without your fundraising, places like this wouldn’t exist. You are so important!”
This year’s event is kindly sponsored by Deliotte, SimplyHealth, GVA and Mark Templer and with support from Heart fm.
Registration costs just £13.50 for 16 year olds and over. The minimum age limit is 11 years, with a £8.50 entry fee for 11-15 year olds. Sign up today at www.chsw.org.uk/RainbowRunBack to news
