Bishopston & Bristol Riff Raff Choir pulls out all the stops for Red Nose Day

Bishopston Riff Raff Choir

BRISTOL, 24 March 2017 – Riff Raff, Bristol’s leading a cappella pop and rock choir, and The Raff Pack, Bristol’s fabulous new all-male a cappella group, love to use their voices to raise money for worthwhile charities, and when they can have a little fun too, all the better! This week, Riff Raff Choir and The Raff Pack have raised over £1,500 for Comic Relief: Red Nose Day with a week of fantastically silly fancy dress rehearsals (see attached photos). The current total of their fundraising efforts can be found here:

This fundraising success follows on from the choir’s 2015 ‘pyjama party’ rehearsals, when in excess of £2,200 was raised for Children in Need, and Riff Raff’s amazing Grand Night Out concert in July last year which raised over £4,800 for The Grand Appeal.

Since launching in 1985, Comic Relief has raised over £900 million, and Riff Raff Choir is incredibly excited to be a part of this legacy, raising money for a number of worthwhile causes.

The choir will also be raising money for St Peter’s Hospice this spring at Riff Raff’s Spring Fling in St George’s Bristol. On Sunday 30 April, Riff Raff and The Raff Pack will be delighting audiences with matinee and evening performances.

About Riff Raff & The Raff Pack
Riff Raff was formed in March 2010 and The Raff Pack was formed in October 2016, with an open door policy – no auditions, and no sheet music – making it accessible to all. The choirs’ ethos are that anyone can sing – and can do it well – given the right guidance. Previous gigs include ‘Riff Raff’s Grand Night Out’ at Colston Hall, St George’s, the Tobacco Factory, and the Merchant Venturers’ Building as part of Radio 4’s More Than Words festival.
