“Bristol Folk” was universally praised on publication and provides a history of folk music in Bristol during the 1960s and 1970s. Many of those on the local scene went on to national and international success and the book includes special sections written by the musicians themselves.

“The Saydisc & Village Thing Discography” looks at every known release on the local Saydisc label (which began life in Frenchay) plus the related Village Thing, Amon Ra and Matchbox labels. Many local musicians were first recorded by Saydisc/Village thing and the labels are now highly sought after the world over.

“The Famous Charisma Discography” includes a foreword by Michael Palin, who recorded many records for the label as a member of Monty Python. Other famous artists on the label included Genesis and Lindisfarne. The discography received a four star review by the internationally-acclaimed Record Collector magazine.

“Transacord: Sounds of Steam”, complete with limited edition CD of steam engine sounds, is a must for the railway nut in your life! The book has only been published for a month and is the fastest-selling publication so far…and it hasn’t even been reviewed yet! If you want a copy with the free CD, I would hurry!
