A Play in a Day!

Horfield Quakers Children’s Group invites you to take part in A Play in a Day. A drama event for 7 to 14 year olds that will take place on Saturday 28 January 2012, 10 to 5pm at the Horfield Quaker Meeting House.

The children’s group at Horfield Quaker Meeting is running a full day drama event open to all children between the ages of 7 and 14.

You don’t need to have any experience. It is a chance to have fun, meet some new people and make up a play in a day!

The activity will include drama games, improvisation and physical theatre and will be facilitated by qualified theatre practitioner, Lizzie Minnion.

The day will be spent creating a play for a performance to show to parents, carers and friends on that day at 4.30pm.  The story will be devised as a group, so whoever takes part will have a chance to use their imagination and ideas.

Everyone is welcome, but apply soon as numbers are limited and places are allocated on a first come first served basis.

Admission for this event is free. However it is not a drop in event – everyone who attends must apply in writing and we will contact you in advance to confirm your place.
