Kelvin Players – The Nether

Kelvin Players 2023 season is now in full swing. After the sell out ‘Blue Stockings’ in February, ‘The Nether’ is next up, this takes a look at a virtual world and offers complete freedom, just log in. Be warned there are some disturbing scenes in this production. The show runs from 25th to 29th April, at the Kelvin Studio on Gloucester Road. Kelvin Players have also added 2 ‘black box’ productions to their already busy season, ‘Therese Raquin’ and the ‘The Amazing  Angelman’. That’s seven plays this year, plus rehearsed readings, workshops and club events. If you are thinking about joining, please contact, it’s only £10 to join at the moment!

Just a reminder that the three other main shows, taking place later this year are, ‘Splendour’ in July, (read through will be on the 16th April) ‘Death and the Maiden’ in October (read through on 4th June) and Dead Dog in a Suitcase’ in December (read through on July 2nd). If you are interested in coming along to a read through, you do not need to be a member, although you will need to be if you want to audition for a show. The local group are also always on the look out for backstage crew, with their own facilities, they have a great technical set up for any one interested in helping out.
